Certification process

What FLAS Certified means from the shop side.

Front Line Auto is the repair shop. Fort Lauderdale Auto Sales is the separate sales brand. The repair-shop role is to inspect, service, repair, and support eligible warranty concerns through the same Oakland Park team.

Short answer

FLAS Certified means the vehicle has gone through Front Line Auto's repair-shop process before it is represented by the separate Fort Lauderdale Auto Sales brand. The shop road-tests the vehicle, scans for active and pending codes, lifts it, removes wheels when needed, checks brakes, tires, belts, fluids, leaks, engine behavior, and transmission shifting, then repairs issues in-house when they need to be addressed.

The repair side came first.

Front Line Auto has been the repair foundation since 2001. Omari describes the relationship between Front Line Auto and FLAS as sister companies that work hand in hand: the repair shop checks the vehicle before it crosses into the sales process.

That matters because the car is not being sent to an unknown outside shop. The same trusted repair team that sees the problem is close to the certification and warranty support process.

The inspection is not just a parking-lot look.

  • Road test to feel drivability, starts, braking, and shifting.
  • Pre-scan for active and pending codes.
  • Lift inspection for leaks, wear, fluids, belts, and visible concerns.
  • Wheel-off review when brakes and tires need a closer look.
  • In-house repair for items that need to be addressed before representation.

Why same-team warranty support matters.

When an eligible FLAS warranty concern comes back, the repair support goes through the same Oakland Park shop. That reduces delays and finger-pointing because the repair team that certified the vehicle stays involved.

This page is about the repair process only. Vehicle sales remain handled by the separate Fort Lauderdale Auto Sales brand.
